AMD在2012年1月底发布第二款采用28nm制程GPU产品Radeon HD 7950,属于南方群岛GPU系列的显卡HD7950其核心引擎时脉高达810MHz,提供多达1,792 组SP以及记忆体频宽也向上增加至384-bit,也采用 GDDR5 3GB 显示记忆体。也是继HD7970第二张支援PCI-E 3.0传输介面技术的显示卡,这也是采用AMD新的GCN架构(Graphic Core Next),AMD HD7950研发代号为Tahiti PRO,为采用28nm制程之GPU,相较于公版运作频率810MHz,XFX HD7950 Black Edition版本更是预设超频至925MHz,以获取更高的效能,并且采用GCN新架构并内建28组compute units共1792个SP处理器,另外还采用3GB GDDR5 384-bit的记忆体频宽,记忆体运作频率为1250MHz(等效5GHz),频宽最高可达240GB/s。支援 PCI Express 3.0 汇流排介面,搭载 AMD GCN 架构、 AMD ZeroCore Power 与 AMD Eyefinity 2.0 多萤幕输出技术,当然在提高显示卡单卡效能的同时,以AMD目前相当追求显示卡P/W值(效能/功耗)来说,当然希望显示卡的耗电表现能低于 6990 表现的 300W 以下,并且透过 AMD ZeroCore Power技术将闲置模式压至 3W 的超低功耗,另外XFX采用自家开发的双风扇搭配均热板散热器,透过新的空气导流设计与涡轮风扇加强散热效果并能有效的减低运作时的音量,以下就显示卡部分作实际简单测试。

类似公版卡设计,采用AMD高阶显示卡均热板散热器设计,采用双9CM风扇的2SLOT散热设计,散热能力应具有相当压制力吧。

小结:目前市面上的7950应该都是参考公版的小改款为主,XFX HD7950采用双6PIN电源设计以满足供电需求,整体来说的稳定性及效能都相当不错,另外记忆体频宽384bit记忆体搭载3G GDDR5记忆体容量是相当海量的配置,对特效全开VRAM应该都还够用,以目前中高阶游戏需求来说应算足够,此次HD7970/HD7950共同主打的中高阶市场,以目前台湾价格定位已经降到一般大众市场接受程度,以HD7950为例也有厂商下杀到8K左右,拥有不错的游戏效能及价格比,属于AMD在DX11的采用GCN显示技术的加强产品,让需要新显示技术(DX11、3D、UVD3及多显示)的视野震撼,轻松享受高阶的游戏卡的效能,使用者可依据需求选购自己喜欢的产品,目前属于新产品淡季期间,没有新产品及更高效能的刺激,期待近期价格区间能有所移动,让使用者能有更多的选择也能捡到更多的便宜,以上提供给各位参考。
